Bearland Paradise Resort - Perfect Weekend Getaways

Bearland Paradise Resort is a perfect getaway just minutes away from the city. Tucked away in the town of Tigbuan, Iloilo. Keep an eye for their signs peppered along the highway and you will not miss it.

Room rates start at Php 3,000+, with breakfast. There are also multiple villas surrounding the resort to accommodate larger groups. If all you want is a quick dip and some snazzy Instagram shots, they do accept walk-ins. You may choose to rent a cabana or just stay at the pavilion.

A point to note, the rooms are inside duplex houses that look like townhouses. There were three rooms in the house that we're in. Two upstairs and another one on the ground floor. During our stay, only a couple shared the house with us. They rarely go out so it felt like we had the entire house all to ourselves. What's great about it is since the rooms are actually a part of the house, it's very spacious. The room we got even have a bathtub.

Food is awesome and the servings are big, though a bit pricey. If you booked a room, breakfast is included in your package.

The highlight of our stay are the pools. They have two pools and a jacuzzi. The infinity pool is about 4-4/5 feet which is perfect for the average Filipino. It's wide so it doesn't feel at all crowded. It boasts of a poolside bar so you can have drinks as you enjoy the ocean view. Definitely IG worthy!

The kiddie pool is about 2 feet, with fountains and a slide that kids are sure to enjoy.

Adrenalin junkies will also enjoy the slew of water activities such as jet ski, kayak, banana boat and more that they offer.

We would also like to highlight the staff's impeccable service. Everyone is accommodating, friendly and helpful.

Bearland Paradise Resort is a perfect place for family vacations. It is affordable, with great food, amenities and service. It is definitely a must-try.
